What is 'Play on Wheels'? Our aim is to provide quality childcare on board our playbus. We are here to make it easier to attend local events. Projects with no crèche facility can hire the playbus to make sure that lack of child care is not a barrier to your participation. Summary of our policies

Equal Opportunities

Play on Wheels aim to practice equal opportunities in every area of our work and ensure that no child is discriminated because of gender, marital status, race, nationality, age, ability or sexual orientation.

We believe children can learn to value different cultures and abilities from an early age, we aim to set a good example by valuing every child, staff member or carer as an individual, free from judgement or prejudice.

Care and Control

Positive behaviour will be promoted at all times. Behaviour which is unacceptable will be dealt with immediately in an agreed fair and consistent manner by staff on duty. This will involved removing the child from the situation and explaining why they can not continue to do what they were doing.

Child protection

We have very strict guidelines to ensure that your child has the best possible experience on board our playbus. All staff have relevant experience or training and have passed all necessary Police and Social work checks. there are always at least 2 staff members on board. As a registered childcare provider, we are inspected annually be Social Work Department.
